The Statement of Faith

New Chapter Christian Int’l is based upon the Word of God and shall at all times be consistent with the following creed belief:

• We believe the Bible is the mind of Christ and the undiluted word of God, therefore, Old and New Testament in their original writing as the supreme and final authority applies to all believers.
• We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father conceived by the Holy Spirit, Born of the Virgin Mary, son of the Living God.
• We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons-Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
• We believe in Baptism by immersion, which signifies been buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead, Colossians 2:12
• We believe the reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, His personal return in power and glory as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
• We believe in the resurrection of believers unto everlasting life and blessing in heaven and the resurrection of unbelievers unto everlasting punishment in the torments of hell.
• We believe that all who repent of their sins and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby given the right to become children of God.
• We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for the services with the accompanying gift of speaking in tongues, following with signs and wonders.
•  We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.
• We believe that the one true church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church on earth should take its spiritual stand and therefore, that the new birth and personal confession of Christ are essential of the church membership.
• We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances, water Baptism in and the Lord’s Supper to be observed as an act of the identification with Him in the burial and resurrection and the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the symbolic communion of the Saviour’s death, until his return.
• We believe the Bible teaches to pursue peace with all men and that without holiness no man can see the Lord, the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation.
